Class 2

In French, Year 4, 5 and 6 children learned how to exchange greetings with each other. We developed our pronunciation skills of the ‘ç’ sound in ‘ça va’ and matched expressions to the correct phrases in reading and writing!

Willow worked very hard together to create our tablecloths for our French Cafe!

This week in science, Willow learnt how fossils are formed through an experiment with bread. Following this, the children demonstrated their oracy and team work skills whilst being news presenters! 

In RE this week, Willow learnt all about Noah’s Arc and considered who Noah must have been as a person.

Willow were great detectives whilst working out the order of the picture book ‘Home’ by Jeannie Baker. They showed great oracy and teamwork skills before working hard on designing a new landscape for a local run down area.

Willow Class finished their learning in Geography by learning about the risks associated with the River Mease. The children shared some fantastic ideas before creating their own posters!
