Measuring animal footprints
In Science we were inspired by The Gruffalo to look closely at animal footprints. We needed to recall our measuring skills using a ruler!
PE Enrichment Day
We found out about The Olympic Games which begin in Paris on 26th July and had a go at some events, building our skills and our fitness! At the end of the day we celebrated with Class 2 and 3 by holding a closing ceremony and showing off our dance and performance skills.
Colour splash!
We had great fun experimenting with colours. We identified primary colours - red, yellow and blue and mixed them to create orange, green and purple!
Drumming workshop
We were very lucky to have a visit from Rhythm City and took part in a drumming workshop with a range of percussion instruments.

Our new role play is a Florist which links to our Science topic about plants. Some fantastic imaginative play already!
